KANGA CARD WAITLIST FREE CARD RANDOM DRAWING — OFFICIAL RULES
(Version effective from 3 October 2026; last updated 5 October 2026)
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
§ 1. Organiser
The drawing is organised by 3-102-93-8308 SRL, registered in the Commercial Register of the Republic of Costa Rica (Registro Nacional) under the identification number 3-102-93-8308, with its registered office at: Provincia 01 San Jose, Canton 02 Escazu, San Rafael, del Centro Comercial La Paco, trecientos metros norte, Plaza Florencia, Local diez (hereinafter the "Organiser"). Questions about the drawing can be sent to [email protected].
§ 2. Prizes
There are at least two prizes, and at least two winners:
First prize: one physical Kanga Card.
Second prize: one virtual Kanga Card.
The Organiser may, at its sole discretion, increase the number of prizes and winners at any time before the drawing. Any additional prizes are announced on this page and are awarded by the same random drawing, in the order in which entries are drawn.
Each prize consists of the issuance of the card to the winner free of any issuance fee. The prizes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item, and cannot be transferred to another person. The card is issued subject to the Kanga Card's terms and conditions and eligibility requirements in force when it is issued, including identity verification. The prize does not include any balance, credit or funds loaded onto the card.
Winning a prize is not the same as being approved for a Kanga Card. Being drawn as a winner does not mean that the winner has passed, or will pass, the identity verification (KYC) and other checks that every Kanga Card holder must complete. If a winner does not pass those checks, the card cannot be issued and the prize is void; it will not be subject to a redraw, nor replaced with any other prize or cash.
§ 3. Who can enter
The drawing is open to natural persons who, at the time of entry, are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity.
The following persons are not eligible: employees and contractors of the Organiser and of the entities of the Kanga group, and members of their immediate households; residents of countries or territories subject to comprehensive sanctions under the laws of the United Nations, the European Union or the United States; and residents of any jurisdiction in which the drawing is prohibited or restricted by law.
§ 4. How to enter
To enter, a person must join the Kanga Card waitlist at https://kangacard.global/waitlist, accept the Privacy Policy, and tick the box "Enter me in the drawing for a free Kanga Card".
The entry period starts on 3 October 2026 and ends on 25 November 2026 at 23:59 UTC. Entries received after that time are not included in the drawing.
Each person may enter only once. Entries are counted per e-mail address and per person; additional entries by the same person, entries made through automated means, and entries with false or incomplete information are disqualified.
Entries submitted prior to the start of the entry period via any previous waitlist forms or external platforms (including Linktree) are not valid for this drawing. Persons who registered their interest previously must rejoin the waitlist via the Website during the entry period and explicitly opt-in to enter this drawing.
§ 5. Selection of winners — random drawing
Winners are chosen by a random drawing. Every eligible entry received during the entry period has an equal chance of being drawn, and the result does not depend on the time of entry, the country of the entrant, or any other factor.
The drawing is carried out by the Organiser no later than 2 December 2026, using a computer-based random selection from the list of all eligible entries. The first entry drawn wins the first prize, the second entry drawn wins the second prize, and so on for any additional prizes. The Organiser keeps a record of the drawing.
§ 6. Notification and claiming the prize
Winners are notified by e-mail, sent to the e-mail address entered on the waitlist, no later than 2 December 2026, which is within 60 days from 3 October 2026.
To claim the prize, a winner must reply to the notification e-mail within 30 days from the date it was sent and complete the steps described in it, including providing any information needed to confirm eligibility under these Rules.
If a winner does not claim the prize within 30 days of notification, or is found to be ineligible, the prize is void and is not awarded.
The physical card is delivered to the winner's address, and the virtual card is made available to the winner, once the Kanga Card is available in the winner's country of residence and the winner has met the card's eligibility requirements. However, if the Kanga Card is not officially launched and available in the winner's country of residence within 12 months from the date of the drawing, the prize shall automatically expire. In such an event, the prize is permanently void and will not be substituted with cash, any alternative prize, or compensation.
§ 7. Personal data
Personal data of entrants is processed by the Organiser in accordance with the Kanga Card Waitlist Privacy Policy, available at https://kangacard.global/waitlist/privacy. The names of winners are published only with their consent.
§ 8. General
The Organiser may disqualify any entry, and cancel or modify the drawing, if fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond its reasonable control affects its proper conduct. Any modification is published on this page.
Any taxes or charges arising from receiving a prize are the responsibility of the winner, except where the law places them on the Organiser.
By entering, entrants accept these Rules. These Rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, subject to mandatory provisions of the law of the entrant's country of residence.
